Following recommendations and requests from members for help with carriage costs, the GA has teamed up with Booksellers Carriage to offer our members a great deal on door to door deliveries, offering cost savings of at least 10% and an excellent level of customer service.
Booksellers Carriage was established in 1989 to provide delivery services to the publishing market and it now moves tens of thousands of packages per month through quality national carriers, using its buying power to obtain the best possible prices. It currently works with over 230 companies, including over 70 greeting card publishers and has received glowing references.
Booksellers Carriage acts as your customer services, chasing through deliveries and making sure bookings happen when they should. It keeps you up to speed by getting the information from its personal contacts with the carriers - not a centralised customer service centre.
Your dedicated contact at Booksellers Carriage - Hugo Van-Manen - will deal with every aspect for you. He has carrier contacts for smoothing deliveries into Selfridges, Harrods, John Lewis etc. and will become part of your business, to let you get on with what you do best; designing, sourcing and selling great products!
Global Reach
Members often ask about the costs of sending packages to southern Ireland. This area comes under the European road service and is an add-on to the domestic service. However Booksellers Carriage offers a full range of air and road services globally and they will do their best to achieve competitive rates for you wherever you need to send your packages.
